Forner-LaVoy Builders To Unveil Casa di Treviso,
the 2006 KMBC-TV-9 Concept Home at Loch Lloyd
Forner - LaVoy Builders is excited to bring you Casa di Treviso -- the 2006 KMBC-TV 9 Concept Home at Loch Lloyd. What is a "concept home" you ask? Well, there are two key facets to this particular project that answer that question.
First, the house is designed, built, and equipped with many of today's latest features. Concepts include the foremost in "technical" advances that, for example, improve energy efficiency and control sound. Also included are environmentally friendly building products and techniques, in-vogue decorating ideas, and modern lifestyle concepts like neighborhood design and architecture style. And of course, no concept home would be complete without the "whiz-bang" features like automated lighting & security controls, whole-house sound, and leading-edge home theater technologies.
The second facet to the Concept Home project is the charitable portion. The completed house will be open to the public on weekends from July 7 – July 30 for a small admission -- all of which will benefit the children of Kansas City through related charities. Both Rick Forner and James LaVoy are blessed with children with special needs. The two charity causes we chose to benefit from the Concept Home are the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired, and the Bi-State Autism Initiative, a joint effort between the Autism Asperger Resource Center and Children’s Mercy Hospital. These are incredible organizations and continue to have a significant positive impact on our respective children’s lives.
Casa di Treviso, named for the village in Italy where Rick Forner's parents are from, is located in Loch Lloyd. Please Click Here for more information.
